Meadow in the Sun - Villaments

By making units in each tower stagger, the design gives it a new swagger.  The 9 blocks of mostly duplex units are laid around a recreational space, with each block arranged in a clever stack of duplex apartments. Each apartment has double heights, terrace gardens and exclusive entrances to make them feel like homes-in-the-sky.

Bangalore has moved really fast into apartment living.  But, there is a nostalgia for independent homes. Here, the design brings the best of both, apartment and independent home, in an imaginative approach. The duplex apartments are staggered in the vertical arrangement of the block by inserting a simplex in the 3rd level.  This makes the entrance more private, with just 2 apartments opening in each lift lobby. This staggering is taken further into the terrace gardens that open from each apartment.

The stacking of villaments was staggered in a way to lead to terrace gardens and space for balconies.
