Footbridge – Residential Avenue

In the heart of an expansive office park, a footbridge is more than a utility—it is a landmark. Designed to traverse the heavy traffic of Residential Avenue, this cable-suspended steel structure acts as a "view deck" that reimagines the pedestrian journey. A striking central mast supports a lightweight, floating footpath, creating an open-air experience that celebrates the intersection of structural engineering and civic art.

The bridge is defined by its intentional lightness and transparency. A roofless, cable-suspended design, the structure avoids the heavy, boxed-in feeling of traditional skywalks. The single mast acts as a vertical anchor.  At the bridge's northern end, the deck "splits" open around a central cutout, a poetic gesture that offers pedestrians a unique, framed perspective of the passing vehicles below.

A soaring steel mast and cables create a floating view deck overlooking the busy campus.
